Thiago Monteiro and Jeon Jihee bag Chile Open Table Tennis titles

Brazilian Thiago Monteiro beat Hampus Soderlund 4-2 (6-11, 11-7, 11-4, 11-7, 10-12, 11-9) to win the Men's singles title at the Chile Open tournament at Santiago. He was the top seed in the Challenge ITTF World tour event.

The Women's final was an all-Korean affair in which Jeon Jihee beat Yoon Sunae 12-10,12-10,11-6,11-7.

India lose to China in the Asian Table Tennis Championships

China, playing without its top player, World Champion Ma Long, was still powerful enough to beat India by the expected 3-0 margin.

Xu Xin took China to 1-0 by beating Harmeet Desai 11-9, 11-9 and 11-3. Chinese great Zhang Jike enhanced the score by overcoming G Sathiyan 11-5, 11-3, and 11-4. Young Fan Zhendong completed the rout and put an end to India's challenge by beating National Champion Soumyajit Ghosh 11-6, 11-7, and 11-8.

Amrutha Pushpak and Sachin Vishwanath bag double crowns

Amrutha Pushpak stole the limelight by winning a double crown at the recent State Ranking Table Tennis tournament. 

She beat N Vidya and S Selena Deepthi in the Women's and Youth girls finals. 

Sushmit Sriram won the Men's title while Sachin Vishwanath won a double by capturing the Youth and Junior boys singles titles.

Naina Suri and Pankaj Sidana are champions

Naina Suri and Pankaj Sidana won the Women's and Men's titles at the 2nd Chandigarh Ranking Table Tennis tournament. While Naina beat Shelly Dhawan, Pankaj overcame resistance from Dev Saini.

Pankaj won a double crown by winning the Youth Boys title.

India tops groups in both categories at the Pattaya Asian TT Championships

India won all their Men's group matches and beat Uzbekistan 3-0 in the Division 1 match at the Suzuki 2015 ITTF Asian Table Tennis Championships at Pattaya, Thailand.

Qatar gave India a scare in the group matches, but India scraped through 3-2. India play hosts Thailand tomorrow.

In the Women's matches, India blanked all their opponents 3-0 in their group, but lost to Thailand in the Division 1 match.

The following members are representing India at the Asian Table Tennis Championships at Pattaya, Thailand:

Second Chandigarh Ranking Table Tennis tournament from September 25

The 2nd Chandigarh Ranking TT tournament will be held at the Table tennis hall at Sector 23. The tournament will be conducted by the Chandigarh Table Tennis Association from September 25 to 27.

Westchester September Open

The September 2015 edition of the Westchester Open will be held from September 26 to 27, 2015 at Pleasantville, New York. The 4 Star Tournament boats of $5, 400 in Cash and Prizes.

Liebherr Men's World Cup Table Tennis tournament at Halmstad, Sweden

Serbian Junior and Cadet Open tournament at Vrnjacka Banja

The ITTF Junior circuit series moves to Serbia in October, where a Junior and Cadet open tournament will be held from 7 to 11.

The Spa town of Vrnjacka Banja will play host to the tournament. 170 Table Tennis talents from 22 countries will fight for the top honors.

Belgrade International Airport is the nearest airport to the venue.
