Amalraj, Mouma are West Zone Table Tennis Champions
A Amalraj and Mouma Das bagged the Men's and Women's titles at the West Zone National Table Tennis championships at Thane. In the finals, they beat G Sathiyan and Manika Batra respectively in nail biting finishes that went down to the wire.

West Zone National Ranking Table Tennis tournament at Thane
Thane is playing host to the Mayor's Cup West Zone National Table Tennis tournament at the Dadoji Kondeo stadium from October 14 to 19.
Many of the leading international players are expected to participate in the tournament which carries points for Indian national Table tennis ranking.
Around 800 to 900 players are expected to compete for titles in different age groups. Cash prizes of over 500 000 are on offer.

Manush Shah, Manushree Patil win titles at Central Zone Table Tennis 2015
Manush Shah and Manushree Patil win Sub Junior titles at the Central Zone All India Table Tennis tournament at Jamnagar
Manush of Gujarat and Manushree of Maharashtra clinched the sub junior titles that were on offer early at the tournament. Divyansh Srivastava and Kavyashree Baskar won the Cadet titles.
Manush overcame Jeho Himnakulhpuingheta and Manushree defeated Swastika Ghosh from her own state in the finals. Both turned out to be straight set affairs.

Delhi State Ranking Table Tennis tournament
The Delhi State Ranking Table tennis tournament will be held under the guidance of Delhi State Table Tennis Association at Darbari Lal DAV Model School, ND Block, Pitampura, New Delhi.
The tournament will run from 23 to 26 October, 2015.
All the events in the regular categories and age groups will be held. Most of the top players from the city are expected to participate in the tournament that will witness high level of enthusiastic response.

US Table Tennis Olympics trials will be held at Greensboro, NC
Greensboro in North Carolina wins the race to host the Table Tennis trials for Olympics
Canton lost the race to host the US Table tennis trials for the Rio Olympics by a whisker. Instead, Greensboro, NC was chosen as the host for the 2016 Olympics trials.It is believed that lighting issues turned the tide in Greensboro's favor.
India Men's and Women's teams qualify for the World Team Table Tennis Championships
Both Indian Table Tennis teams qualify on the basis of their performance at the 2014 World Championships
