India Men's and Women's teams qualify for the World Team Table Tennis Championships

Both Indian Table Tennis teams qualify on the basis of their performance at the 2014 World Championships

The Indian teams will go to the 2016 Championships as the 9th qualifiers from Asia.

However, the Indian team will have to battle hard to get into the premium first division of the World Championships.

Indian Table Tennis players head to Sweden and Brazil

A huge contingent of Men and Women Table Tennis India players will participate in the Swedish Open at Helsingborg and the Brazil Open at Santos. These tournaments will provide valuable exposure to Soumyajit and Ankita for the Olympic games.

Men: Soumyajit Ghosh, Anthony Amalraj, Achanta Sharath Kamal, Subhajit Saha, Sanil Shetty, Soumyadeep Roy, Harmeet Desai.

Women: Ankita Das, Poulomi Ghatak, Mouma Das, Moushmi Paul, Divya Deshpande, K Shamini, Manika Batra and Pooja V Sahasrabudhe.
