Madhurikaa Patkar and Amalraj win East Zone National Ranking titles

Madhurikaa Patkar and A Amalraj won the Women's and Men's titles at the East Zone National Ranking Table Tennis tournament at Siliguri. Sutirtha Mukherjee and Abhishek Yadav and won the Youth titles while, Ayhika and Lalrin Puia won the junior titles.

Men: Final: A Amal Raj (PSPB) bt Soumyajit Ghosh (PSPB) 4-2 (15-13, 11-7, 5-11, 7-11, 11-8,11-8).

Women: Final: Madhurika Patkar bt Mouma Das 4-0 (11-7, 11-2, 11-4, 11-7).

Junior Boys: Final: Lalrin Puia (PSPBA) bt Abhishek Yadav (PSPBA) 4-2

Junior Girls: Final: Ayhika Mukherjee (AAI) bt Sagarika Mukherjee (NB) 4-2

Youth Boys: Final: AbhishekYadav (PSPB) bt Sourav Saha (PSPB) 4-2

Gold medals galore for the Indian Cadet Table Tennis Team at El Salvador

This is certainly Indian Table Tennis history being re-written! The very young cadet team swept most titles at El Salvador beating more senior International ranked players, including in the much higher age group of Under 18, even though they are Under 15! Three cheers !!!

We are losing count of the Gold medals , just listing some achievements of the many winners and runners up.

Indian Junior and Cadet players to participate in the Guatemala Junior and Cadet Open


India's official entries for the Guatemala Junior & Cadet Open - ITTF Junior Circuit has several budding talents including Anirban
Ghosh, Birdie Boro and Sutirtha Mukherjee.

The tournament runs from Aug 7 to 10.

South Asian Junior Table Tennis Championships

Good luck to all the promising Indian Juniors at the South Asian Junior Table Tennis Championships at New Delhi. India is the top favorite to top the medals tally. 
Competitions will be held in the Team, Singles, and Doubles categories in the Cadet and Junior age groups. From India, top world ranked players such as Manika Batra (World No 27), Sutirtha Mukherjee (35), Sagarika Mukherjee (Cadet World No. 24), Anirban Ghosh (Cadet World No. 33), Birdie Boro (Cadet World no 65), Lalrin Puia (Cadet World No. 85), Sudhanshu Grover (90), and Abhishek Yadav (152) are participating.

Anirban Ghosh and Sagarika Mukherjee win National titles

Anirban Ghosh and Sagarika Mukherjee won the Sub junior boys and girls titles at the Cadet and Sub Junior National Championships at Gandhidham.

Anirban beat Arjun Ghosh 4-0 while Sagarika beat Harsha Vardhini 4-1 in the finals. Earlier, Ashwin Subramanian and Prapti Sen won the Cadet Boys and Girls titles.

It is worth noting that Anirban Ghosh upset many senior players and actually reached the semi-finals of a Zonal national level Table Tennis tournament.
