District Ranking Table Tennis tournament at Sharada Center, Pune

A tournament is being held in Sharada Center, Pune, to continue the district ranking series of tournaments. 

The tournament started yesterday. All regular events will be held. 

Since the Veterans state ranking at Solapur is clashing with this tournament, the Veterans and Mens events are being held in the initial days of the tournament.

Anurag Gote beats Shubhankar Ranade to bag the Men's title at Pune District Table Tennis Ranking tournament

Anurag Gote fought back from 0-2 to win 4-2 against the stylish Shubhankar Ranade in the Men's Singles Finals of the Pune District Ranking Table Tennis tournament at Deccan Gymkhana, Pune. The tournament was sponsored by Le Meridien.

In a thrilling match that was a treat to watch for the spectators, Anurag unleashed his steady heavy spin-oriented game, and prevailed in the end.

Maharashtra Table Tennis season 2011

The 2011 Maharashtra Table Tennis season begins with the State Ranking tournament at Deccan Gymkhana, Pune from 14th June to 19th June.

The Pune Inter-club championship just concluded and will be followed by the Pune District Ranking tournament, again at Deccan Gymkhana from 4th June.

The second State Ranking will be at Dombivali Gymkhana, Dombivali.
