Manav Thakkar and Moumita Datta win Sub Junior titles at West Zone National Ranking Table Tennis tournament

Pint-sized Manav Thakkar won the Sub Junior Boys title at the West Zonal National Ranking Table Tennis tournament at Thane. The PSPB lad Manav Thakkar beat Rohit Bhanja of North Bengal in the finals. In the Girls finals, Moumita Datta of West Bengal beat Shruti Amrute from the host state.

2nd at Kolhapur 2 to 7 July This tournament has been moved to Thane from July 31 to Aug 4
3rd at Nasik 7 to 11 Aug
4th at Dombivli 28 Aug to 1 Sep
5th at Khar Gymkhana, Mumbai 5 to 9 Oct
State Championships at Dhule 12 to 17 Nov

Thane State Ranking Table Tennis Tournament for Maharashtra state

The 2nd Maharashtra State Ranking Table Tennis tournament will be held at Raheja Sports Complex, Opp. Raheja Garden, Off L.B.S. Marg Teen Hat Naka, Thane [West].

Events: Men’s , Women’s , Youth Boys , Youth Girls , Junior Boys , Junior Girls ,  Sub  Junior Boys , Sub Junior Girls , Cadet Boys , Cadet Girls.

West Zone National Table Tennis Championships, Thane

The 2011 edition of the West Zone TT tourney starts today. Top players in the country are expected to participate. The tournament will go on from 8th to 13th October 2011.

The venue for the tournament is Dadoji Konndev Stadium, Near Fire Brigade Office, Station Road, Thane West.
