Las Vegas is hosting the GAC Group 2013 ITTF World Tour, US Open, Americas Challenge Series from 03 Jul 2013 - 06 Jul 2013.

Indian names in the official entry list - Pooja Sahasrabudhe, Divya Deshpande, G Sathiyan and Jubin Kumar.

Divya outperforms her ranking by a long margin

Everyone loves performances that belie current strength. Divya Deshpande was one such performer at the Brazil Open Table Tennis World Tour tournament at Santos, Brazil. Ranked 4th in the group of 4 players, she finished first this earning a notable feature mention on the ITTF Web site here:

Divya beat Silva Ligia and Berta Rodriguez of host country Brazil and Chile respectively, who are ranked much higher.

Among other Indian in the fray, Soumyadeep Roy, Sanil Shetty,and Harmeet Desai in the Men's and Poulomi Ghatak, Mousumi Paul, Ankita Das, K Shamini, Manika Batra, Mouma Das also made it to the main draw. Soumyajit Ghosh, Subhajit Saha and A Amalraj are already in the main draw since they are seeded.

Subhajit, Divya shine at Asian Cup, Guangzhou

Upsets galore! Subhajit Saha beat World No. 18 Jiang Tianyi in the group stage of the Asian Table Tennis Cup. The amazing thing is that Tianyi went on to win the Bronze medal in an almost world class tournament that had many top players except the Chinese cream.

Wang Liqin continued his inevitable slide by losing to Iran's Noshad Alamiyan.

Divya Deshpande of India topped Group D Women's section of the Asian Cup. She beat world no. 134 Beh Lee Wei twice (in group and second stage) to finish a creditable 13th.
The GAC TOYOTA (Camry) 25th Table Tennis Asian Cup 2012 was held at Guangzhou from 6th -8th Apr. 2012.

2011 Maharashtra State Championship Table Tennis at Buldhana

The State Championship TT tournament starts at Buldhana tomorrow. Many stars are participating this time. They include international players such as Sanil Shetty, Aman Balgu, Madhurika Patkar, Divya Deshpande, Pooja Sahasrabuddhe, and many others.

The tournament is expected to provide a lot of excitement to the players and fans in the state and even outside.

Even the junior sections evoke a lot of interested as some talented players prepare to face each other.

Sourav, Mouma win North Zone Ranking Table Tennis titles

Sourav Chakravarthy and Mouma Das won the North Zone Ranking Table Tennis tournament held at New Delhi. In the finals, they beat Soumyajit Ghosh and Mamta Prabhu respectively, but in contrasting styles.

While Sourav coasted to a 4-2 win over the relatively inexperienced Soumyajit, Mouma held her nerve and beat back Mamta's challenge 4-3.

Harmeet Desai asserted his growing stature on the domestic scene beating G Sathiyan in the Youth Boy's finals. Pooja Sahasrabudhe beat Divya Deshpande in a daring comeback from 3-1 down.
