Chaitanya Udare takes a game off Sharath Kamal

Chaitanya Udare, a young talented Table Tennis player putting up a decent fight against Indian International, Sharath Kamal. Sharath won 4-1. The match was played at Bengaluru in the 2012 and was a South Zone Table Tennis National level tournament.

Chaitanya is a Maharashtra A player and has represented Maharashtra at the National level several times in the Senior and Junior level. He has also represented India during his sub junior playing days.

Chaitanya plays near the table and matches Sharath's speed in some rallies.

Noel Pinto, Madhurikaa Patkar win State Ranking Table Tennis titles at Khar Gymkhana

Noel Pinto won the Men's title at the Maharashtra State Ranking tournament conducted by MSTTA and Khar Gymkhana. In the final, he beat the formidable Aman Balgu in a closely fought encounter.

In the women's final, Madhurikaa Paatkar beat Prajakta Tipale.
Earlier, in the men's semi-final, Noel faced a scare against Chaitanya Udare, before he wriggled out of the tight situation.

All Mumbai Ranking Table Tennis Tournament 2012

The Mandapeshwar Civic Federation 4 Star All Mumbai Ranking Table Tennis Tournament 2012 runs from 20th to 24th June, 2012.

Noel Pinto is the top seed in the Men's section followed by Eric Fernandes. Chaitanya Udare and Ravindra Kotiyan are seeded third and fourth.

Maharashtra A teams post sensational victories

Mah A beat PSPB in a historic match in the Women's semi finals of the Team events at the 73 rd Inter State and Senior National Table Tennis Championships. Rarely have PSPB faced defeat against other teams.

In one of the other big upsets, Maharashtra A beat North Bengal in the Quarterfinals. North Bengal had the likes of Soumyajit Ghosh and Raj Mondal in their ranks! Soumyajit won both his matches but Raj Mondal could not escape the clutches of Udare and Fernandes. Experienced Chaudhary ensured the third point.
